Gloria Wong, having been trained in Australia and London for the Massage in Schools Program (MISP), is the only MISP Trainer in South East Asia.  She conducts MISP Training Courses to adults as well as young children.
She is also a certified Infant Massage Instructor since 2004.

Her company, Tender Loving Touch® , offers two main programs:

Massage in Schools Program (MISP)

MISP program is accredited by Edge Hill University in England as part of teachers’ continuing professional development.  MISP is also a member of the Anti-Bullying Alliance in UK. The Program has been adopted by many schools in Sweden, UK, Europe, Australia, and Japan and is now being introduced in Singapore. 

The MISP training course is a 2-day course to prepare education and childcare professionals to implement MISP in Primary Schools/ Child Care/Community Centres by sharing MISP techniques.

Gloria is the only MISP Instructor Trainer in SE Asia and conducts MISP training courses in Singapore.

MISP Training:

• Adults – two-day international certificate MISP Instructor’s Course
• Students – six sessions of 45 mins. in Primary Schools/Childcare/Community Centres

                       
Infant Massage
The first year is the most important. Providing positive emotional and physical support will hold a child in good stead for life. Research has shown that a lack of nurturing touch in young babies leads to failure to thrive and in some cases even death.

The positive experience of being massaged allows the babies to feel a deep sense of love and security.

Touching your child and providing stimulation of all of the senses is important as it enables your child to develop into a capable confident and mentally balanced adult.

Infant Massage Workshops for young mothers with babies (3 sessions of 30 minutes)

• workshop for a group of minimum 4 mothers with babies at appointed venues

• (personalized lessons at the home of mothers with newborn babies can be arranged)

The services she renders is to support and empower young parents in the attachment and bonding process.

She adds value to the services by giving the mummy with newborn babies special tummy massage.
Reason: her body goes through hormonal changes and a tremendous degree of stress and the tummy massage will stimulate circulation of the stomach and colon so as to prevent constipation and windy spells.
